Well after the desk-clearing incident Mr. C disappeared. I didnt find out what happened till a few days ago. It seems that Mr. C was reassigned to a mailroom type post to serve out his last days. His security card was reprogrammed and his network credentials were killed.

So yesterday I am on my way into work and there is Mr. C having a full-blown fit because his card was completely dead and no one would help him. He did his normal screaming fit – but then he decided to kick it up a notch. There are some flat panel displays in that area so Mr. C picks up one up and throws it at the poor security girl! I was walking over to punch him in the face (something that should have been done a long time ago) when 2 security guys jumped him. Since nothing bad ever happens HERE the cops didnt get called. I dont know where they took him though.

Yesterday was quite the drama day at work. My best friend here (Hi TongSeop!) quit to go on to bigger and better things. It was real, real hard to see him go. He was the one that cast the vote that got me hired here and we have been friends ever since. I will really miss him.

Additionally, a brawl erupted over MSN Messenger flirting that left 2 employees fired and the office on edge. Some serious drinking took place to calm everyones collective nerves last night.

I wonders Lush, would you get fired for making company goss? If your bosses ever found out that is.

How do you make company goss?

Why do so many Koreans HATE it when Caucasian foreign males come to Korea, in a non-teaching capacity, and succeed? Why? Is it jealousy that I didnt have to get a blood test to work here? Is it salary jealousy? Is it the perceived preferential treatment? Why do you people get so bent when you see foreigners doing so well in Korea? I have received countless hate PMs from Kyopos and Koreans alike attacking me. If I go on this board and say my co-teacher is a moron, well then thats ok. If I say the same thing about a coworker, people wet their panties with their righteous anger. Sheeon, I dont know you, but if youre like the knobs I work with, then its time for you to get a life. When Korea no longer can do anything for me, cash wise, then I will be glad to go. Till then just deal with it.

You said that two people from your company got fired for "flirting" on MSN messengers. I was curious as to how safe your posts were, if anybody ever found out. I think it's you who has the disability in reading. I don't hate caucasians. Besides, I don't think you earn more than me, so I'm not jealous either.

I didn't know that. But, if that's the case, you should carefully read how you write, maybe you're getting on other people's nerves.

Thanks for your honest thoughts, so you're in for the money, and there's nothing wrong with that. Korean people would love to work for a Jaebol, but as I said before, they're ruthless bunch of thugs. Only thing they're interested in is making a profit. Watch your back. It used to be a job for life, but not anymore.
I for one does not want to work for a Jaebol. My uncle is the CEO of a top 5 Companiess in Korea, but no thanks.

Mr C has departed, so I guess I have nothing more to say about the issue. I didn't mean to attack you personally Lush. I know it is difficult for a foreigner to adjust to the ways of korean culture and its people.
As I have experienced living in a foreign country. There were some good people over there, and not so good ones. So, hope you're not too mad.

The only thing I am angry about is my friend, TongSeops departure from here! I am certainly not mad at you Sheeon.

I take everything here with the proverbial "grain of salt" - not much really annoys me! Very Happy

And sorry hear that your best friend is leaving. Are you sure it's Tongseop, not Dongseop. 'cause Tongseop sounds goofy.
