I got this email from some company in Seocho saying they have this website and they want online English teachers. The pay is $10 Canadian and they will pay you after you rack up $100. I'm wondering if this is some sort of scam or if it is actually real. They even allow people to do it who are living in their countries of origin. I guess it would be hard to get busted by immigration doing this.

The pay will be defferentiated according to you class

Your pay is $10 / hour

This makes me a little skeptical. So what do I really get paid then?

I've seen a few job offers like this recently - even in the korean job ad sction of this site. I think this option of teaching mayl become more widespread as there seems to be a demand for it. However I wouldn't pay any fee at all to any site offering this and the one you mention looks pretty shady. Like other recruiters they should be taking a cut of the monies paid but if they don't do it that way and insist on you paying a fee I'd want to know why with some kind of guarantee of employment like a weeks free trial. There will be plenty of opportunists out there who will see this as ripe for a scam.

The job ad on this site is here (it's in the international job section):-

If anyone takes a job up with these people I'd be interested to know how it turns out.
