Awww. My one and only "little sister" in my school came by with her mom to invite me to her dance recital on Christmas eve at her church (which isn't far from my apartment). I was planning on going out, but couldn't say no to her little cherub face. Her mom even lets me call her oma, and has had me over for dinner (and I've had them over to mine as well).
Too cute. I was thinking of picking up a cake or something to give to them when I got there. There's a new bakery near my school that has really nice stuff--not that frosted, cherry tomato and kiwi covered stuff, but real pound-style cakes and a close approximation of devil's food.
Are any of you spending time with your adopted Korean families this holiday? |

I'll be spending Christmas Eve and perhaps Christmas with my Korean sis and her family. She wanted to cook an "American Christmas meal," but I think she's going to order delivery - much like I had pizza for my Thanksgiving meal with them, haha. |

No adopted korean family, but I have my in-laws and we will be going out to lunch with them and our boys. Probably going to outback. Nothing traditional but I like outback. |
