Anyone know of a good place in Daegu that's holding a New Year's Eve party? Some friends and I are going to be in that city that evening and want to find a good place to celebrate, but we're not too familiar with too many places in the area.

Any names of places, and general locations would be appreciated. Thanks!

If you are in to the typical get drunk bar scene..check the Daegu Friendship club facebook page...they are organizing a "bar crawl" for the lush expat community here.

There's also a ball drop and fireworks over by city hall. I was there 2 years ago and it was a really big crowd.

They do the bell-ringing at midnight downtown at the "Debt Reduction" park, which is right down the street from Feb 28 Park and the Novotel (City Center). Before that any western-style bar will be doing something. Communes, for example, is having a bunch of bands.
