Froyo just came out for it, wouldn't mind getting a thread going. I'll list some apps I use, and if people add new ones, I can edit the first post.


Sound manager: turns your ringer/sound on/off at preset times. Great for turning your ringer off automatically when school starts, and on again when school is finished.

Applanet: Good market substitute, giving you access to more apps, all free.

Barcode scanner: Uses the phone's camera to scan barcodes. Works very well.

Google translate: Decent translator w/ speech recognition. While the end result is usually riddled with incorrect grammar, at least it can get the point across.

RockPlayer: Video player that can play many formats not natively supported by Android. Performance is good.

Weather Channel: I'e used a few weather apps, I like this one the best. Updates and loads quickly. Has all the information I want.

Onymous App Installer: Works with 2.2. Allows you to install apps from the SD card.


GAMES:
Angry Birds: Shoot birds at pigs. Very fun.

Robo defense: Good tower defense game w/ a high replay value.




Currently looking for an app that will let me use my LED camera flash as a flashlight none of the ones I've tried work for the Motoroi.

Does it HAVE to be the LED flash? I use an app called "Color Flashlight" on my Galaxy, and it lights up my screen really bright, and i can change colors in case someone is sleeping close to me when i need to use it. It's pretty handy.

I really enjoy Angry Birds, but haven't tried Robo Defense, i guess i should check it out.

I also have Bust-a-move, it's a decent time killer.
