Yea, it sucks. There are some much better outdoor ranges down south that don't tether the pistols to the wall. Not worth the money. I took the GF there just for the novelty of seeing her shoot a pistol. If you are from a country that allows gun ownership and you are used to the ranges (or woods) there, you will be sorely disappointed by what Lotte World has to offer. |

It's too expensive here in Korea. I'm always glad when I'm heading back to my home back in the States on break, as I can shoot all I want. I have muzzleloaders to shoot, plus I have some black powder cartridge arms for which I do my own reloading and shoot them for next to nothing. |

I miss my guns as well. Can't wait until I go back to the US for my vacation in February. I will be making several trips down to the indoor range to get my fix. |

To avoid making a new thread:
Does anyone know of any ranges to the south then? Gwangju in particular would be great, but anything would be good. |

The baddest gun I ever shot fired a .45-70 Government round. I wouldn't want to get shot with one of those things.
In Korea can you get powerful cartridges? I don't want to fire boring rounds like 9mm that I've fired a bunch of times before. I want to fire rounds that hurt to fire. |

That's one of my favorite rounds. I have an original 1873 Springfield trapdoor .45-70. Also, I just picked up a .45-70 barrel for a Remington rolling block action that I hope to put together this winter break when I visit back to the States.
My two other favorite cartridge arms are a .50-45 Remington rolling block carbine (such as the U.S. used against Korea in 1871) and a 7.7mm Japanese Arisaka my dad picked up in Incheon at the end of WWII. Along with them, I have several muzzleloaders--some original and others reproductions; they make lots of smoke and noise. |
