I also agree with the OP. My office does supply toilet paper but it is also kept in the teachers office so students would need to bring tissues.
They have tissue vending machines in the toilet too. Why don't they just charge for the water, use or air? That is total BS. If you are gonna supply a toilet you should supply paper. No question.
Many public toilets also have no paper. It can just depend on when they are filled but there are some that never have any. |

| What are they buying with the money that they must be saving by not providing toilet paper in these schools? |

I once worked at a school that had a private teacher's bathroom with a bidet, hot water, unlimited TP and heated toilet seat. Unfortunately, it didn't have heating in the winter. So while my @ss was warm, I was shivering cold. But, I think that is the closest to heaven I can get before I croak. |

| mine is often absent of tp because the kids always seem to trash the bathroom with it. It is always on hand everywhere though as they use the stuff as all purpose hand towels anyway. |

The trick is that before you launch the torpedo you need to spread your cheeks nice and wide, it helps to minimise the clean up afterwards. Also eat pleanty of peanuts, makes for a cleaner, tighter log. |

You could use your socks or your vest. Of course, you will have to discard them there and then, but they are easily replaceable.
I remember my horror the first time I discovered government schools in Hong Kong not supplying any paper. I thought that it was a god-given right that every school had toilet paper. The kids were supposed to bring their own, but I didn't trust that. I would avoid touching any washroom handle at all cost.
I, too, carry a handy supply of 'personal items' for the workplace - tissues, hand sanitizer, wet wipes, soap, spare set of clothes, hand warmer, hand cream, toothpicks, deodorant, a whistle (you never know), earplugs, a plastic bag, a face mask.
You gotta be prepared ... |

| Your principal probably caught one of the cheap older teachers stealing dozens of rolls of toilet paper from the school and thought that the new policy would be the most face-saving way of dealing with the situation. |

I still remember foot prints because this guy didn't know how to sit on the toilet seat and wanted to squat instead on the seat.
It's hard to teach an old dog new tricks; particularly in Asia. Got to love the bathrooms that are not heated and wear you can begin to watch your own urine crystalize in mid-air and the toilets that still don't put a curve in the pipes so you don't have to get that outhouse aroma effect when you go. |

| One school has been like that the whole time I've been there. It was so bad, I even had to bring bars of soap for the bathroom. Almost all of the male teachers, even the principal (and his boss on one inspection day) don't wash up after going. Needless to say, I never eat food that a Korean has touched, period. I was a medic and Med Lab Tech in the Army and learned to be fanatic about washing my hands. I learned very early in Korea to carry TP and baby wipes at all times. |

You might consider doing your poohs at home then, either before school or hold it in until afterwards.
I never crap at school, always prefer playing on home turf. |
You are absolutely correct. Why create problems? |
