What an amusing mountain of crazy. l kind of wonder what Koreadays' ideal geopolitical situation would be. I'm guessing it would involve aliens and Chinese imperial domination.

Maybe the American military will stop being unbelievably effective at destroying armies. Maybe Chinese battleships will revolutionize naval power when everyone forgets how planes and surface-to-surface missiles work. Maybe America's massive and increasing intelligence advantages both with satellites and UAVs will become irrelevant due to constant cloud cover worldwide.

If all enemies of the United States were as ridiculous as Koreadays, American hegemony would last a thousand years.

frankly getting sick of all this Pro America talk...
I am not the only one. travel around the world and you will see
but for you Americans.. keep supporting your home team.

like I said. China or Russia will take control of the world one day
that's how the world works. power shifts.
deal with it.

but until then I am sure the Americans can start illegal wars, spew out more propaganda for your die hard Americans to swallow and send in your own brothers and sisters to get killed, or return home as amputees all in the name of patriotism.

God bless America hahahahahahah ohhh please....

No, I am someone who can do a sober analysis and not just start screaming how the USA's doom is just around the corner.

You're talking about things like hand to hand combat in modern warfare and the Chinese building battleships.

Latrine digging skill is more important than hand to hand combat training.

And battleships were obsolete in 1941.

Seriously, read a book.

You said you are ignorant of military strategy yet go on and on about it.

Proof positive that for some people the hardest words to say are "I don't know."

right this coming from a Hakwon teacher teaching ESL to children..
seriously dude, give it up. you have no clue
if you think The America military is unstoppable in war dream on
the Americans can't fight alone, and they lose most wars they enter . and might I add, they fight armies which are much inferior to them.
I see why, because you only have to go to Itaewon on a saturday night and see who the American military is and all makes perfect sense why they get their asses kicked hahahahaaaa
battleship...? ..ohhh ok Air craft carrier.. you happy now?

no hand to hand combat in war? ohh thats it.. dude. go back and watch WAR GAMES.. you truly are brainless.
once the bombs go off, and the troops need to go in, there will be times that a soldier might be disarmed and then will need to be able to use a knife, or defend from a knife, or disarm a soldier etc etc..
any soldier will tell you that. that's why they learn hand to hand combat.
I never said North Korea would win a war by this. I said they would not be sitting around playing xbox . they would be far more skilled at killing by hand than the Americans.
instead of being so patriotic and trying to defend USA .. why not read what I am saying.

I know you love your country so much and you sound so proud to be American. good for you.. frankly the Americans are the ones who have blood on their hands.
And you know it!

I'd say most (if not all) Americans on this board (and elsewhere for that matter) are highly critical of their government's foreign policy choices of recent years. Doesn't make your analysis any more reasonable, though.

Americans voted for GWB and his "humble foreign policy" and then for Obama's fuzzy love the world foreign policy. Both turned out to be hawks, but that doesn't change what the people preferred.

Frankly, its your geopolitical analysis that possesses the shallowness of sports chatter.

No, they won't. They don't want the responsibility of global hegemon.

A little more shrill though and he needs to add in a half dozen exclamation points at the end of his sentences. Itaewonguy's stuff had more of a baritone note to it.

yeah guess that's why they have China backing them up!

China is NOT going to back North Korea in a war. Even in the Korean War when they had very little to lose their supporting forces were called "volunteers".

Today they are enjoying a better and better life with the economy going at breakneck speed. Do you really think they want to get bombed back to the Stone Age just when they are starting to become a major player? They are the second biggest economy and are not going to throw all that away to support some crazy dictator.

It's far more likely that once war starts, they will invade North Korea and try to seize as much territory as possible in order to have a buffer state between it and the South.

And if Wikileaks cables are to be believed, many of the younger leaders in China would rather see the South Korean government in control of the entire peninsula than deal with their erratic and impoverished ally.

Also, koreadays, thanks for the Lolz, especially at malnourished North Korean soldiers, who are on average several inches shorter than their South Korean counterparts, kicking American asses in hand-to-hand combat.

"If China did fight with USA they would be sent back to the stone age?"

come on now you guys are talking like cowboys again.
let me guess. "We nuke em?" like China doesn't have nukes.

first of all, China would send USA back into the stone age with them.
USA couldn't fight China alone either.

and a war with either one of those nations would be brutal. and USA has more to lose than China.
the question could easily go the other way.
"USA doesn't want to be sent back to the stone age over North Korea. so perhaps not getting involved might be the better choice this time"
so why pack up your bases and leave the region. USA truly is far away from home.
China too can play hard ball. and So can the Russians.
I believe CHina or Russia are not afraid of America.

you are talking about the political leaders of today. I am talking about the future leaders of tomorrow.

People will always want to compete and accumulate power. Any attempt at an egalitarian society is doomed to failure.
it's human nature to want more. as long as Greed is one of Humans traits war will continue. that's what I believe anyway you can disagree with me on this too, I am sure you will.
PEACE brother..

you have your opinion and I have mine.
I believe one day in the future. 100 years from now. 500 years from now
when ever. A new nation will emerge as a power hungry force.
They don't want the responsibility? someone will take over once USA goes broke and can't afford it anymore.
no company reigns for ever. like no country will. that's how life works.

fair enough. but I am confused about your patriotism?
you are American but you have an Avatar with Putin, interesting.
I have never claimed to know it all, I am just looking at things at possible different angels.

no worries bro. after all this is a forum for entertainment purposes.Laughing
we should never take what we say too seriously. at the end of the day it's all out of our hands.
if war breaks out. we are the ones who suffer.
few inches shorter doesn't mean you are not a better fighter. It's all in the training. plenty of boxers, MMA fighters who have less reach win plenty of times.

todays news.
http://www.koreaherald.com/national/Detail.jsp?newsMLId=20101230000537
of course this is nothing because they have no fuel and a 1 million military who are starving to death.
so let's not worry.

really. ?

so the world was expecting hitler, mao, pal pot, ivan the terrible, Maximillien Robespierre, Francois "Papa Doc" Duvalier, Nicolae Ceausescu, Idi Amin..
just to name a few. because to know the present we know the future.
yeah right. and to know the present we should remember the past
because the past seems to repeat itself doesn't it.
