I bought a second hand T-world (SK) android phone off a guy last week, had his contract shifted over to my name (with 8 months remaining) and then promptly lost it on Saturday night in a taxi. Dumbass.
Does anyone have experience with a situation like this? I've rung it a few times but it isn't being answered. Any advice? |

Nope, hadn't gotten around to that, unless it was included in the contract |

Usually, insurance automatically kicks in after 3 months. It can be cancelled by the contract holder though. It doesn't matter which carrier you're on. Might be worth checking into. |

Was the guy foreigner or Korean? Another foreigner wouldn't be able to get an Contract Phone from SK.
Did SK not provide you with a copy of the contract?
YOU could be alot of trouble. |

WRONG! I'm a foreigner and I have a contract phone (HTC Desire) from SK. Any other pearls of idiocy you could spout off that we can shoot down? |

I have a contract Galaxy phone. I'm a foreigner.
If you're on an E2, you just have to buy the phone outright, but you are more than welcome to get a contract. If you have a different visa that is 2 years or more, you are allowed to get the lovely discounted cost/payment plan. |

By that logic no foreigner would be able to get a contract from SK, which i can tell you is absolutely wrong.
I'm also going to guess the contract copy was in Korean and i'm not too sure of the OP's Korean ability.
BTW, did you check into the insurance thing OP? |
