The title pretty much says it all. Thanks.

If you are a guy, forget it. That being said, most of the cuts for suits you find have been around since 1990 or so.

If you are a girl, how ugly do you really want to look? Because, having been in a couple of "vintage" shops with my wife, the clothes are hideous beyond belief. Seriously. Also if you are a girl, the clothes probably won't fit. The arms will be too short.

That being said, this is Korea. Koreans are very materialistic and showy. They don't like old things. They love the latest and greatest they can't afford but still buy anyway to keep up or one-up with the Kims.

Not great. The commercial stores might have something overpriced if you are small and have an odd sense of style. The bigger Beautiful Store outlets can have a few finds, but like any secondhand store, you have to go back and check often.

I was in Japan 14 years ago and struck up a conversation with a Japanese American about this subject. He said that the Japanese actually sell their old/used clothes to 3rd world countries because 'clothes made in Japan are of high quality'. Don't know if it's true, but it was a little weird that they would ship containers full of old clothes to overseas buyers.

Go to (Line # 1 & # 6) Domeyoe Station, Exit # 3. There is a really good vintage clothing store at the top of the stairs. Most of their clothes come from Itay, the USA and Canada. They're a tad expensive, but pretty good. The Beautiful Stores are pretty good, as well.

I am a guy, I just prefer the character that vintage cloths have and find new cloths to be well too 'new' and pretty looking. I guess I'll stock up on some before I go. Thanks!

probably means donate tbh?
there are a few charity shops around, but then that's just old stuff, doesn't mean the same as vintage! Vintage look is 'in' though, so maybe shops willl be on the up?
