I want to do a hike tomorrow, but with it being wintertime, I want to get the proper shoes instead of hiking in tennis shoes like I usually do.

I was hoping I could find some reasonably priced ones for around 40 or 50 thousand won.

Thanks for your help ^^

I bought a pair in Itaewon in the main drag on the same side as the hamilton in one of the knock-off shoe stores. They were only 40000, but they fell apart after a year. I'm sure there's cheap crap at other places, but I only know about shoes there because I require a large size.

Have you tried a department store like Homeplus or EMart? They sometimes have shoes or boots on sale. I think that I've occasionally seen cheap boots for 50k Won.

Like someone else posted, don't expect them to last more than 1 season. Another problem that I've noticed with cheap footwear is that they often don't breath well. So... at the end of the day you'd best avoid restaurants where you have to take them off at the door. Shocked
