I bought myself a couple of those Nike dry-fit long sleeve workout shirts. I have a dozen of them for summertime workouts, but none for winter. They're pricey, but they last a really long time if you take care of them by using gentle cycle wash and always air dry them.

What have you bought?

Note: You're not allowed to start talking about what you want to buy.

I bought too much recently. OK, I only arrived here about 3 months ago, so a lot was to set up my home. But what I bought and didn't really need are

LG 42" LED TV
Ibanez elec with amp
PC
iPod Touch 64GB
Plane ticket and hotel in Tokyo (does this count?) for vacation

That's the fun stuff I bought - no point mentioning my jackets, bed, cutlery etc. I gotta stop spending and start saving!

I bought myself a drawer to keep my clothes in and a table for cooking. My apartment looks much better now since I actually have enough space for my clothes and I don't have to make food on the floor. I just regret not buying these things 2 years ago...

Used copy of NHL 11. Pretty awesome game, even though I'm not a hockey fan.

Bought myself an Ipod touch, a Pixar DVD, and a game for my kinect. I'm trying to ignore the gaping hole in my wallet right now.

Love it, good choice and good investment... Very Happy

Tundra, what's life if you can't let go and live a little once in awhile? So you watch New Years on TV instead of going out and racking up the credit card bills.

This summer I picked up a 2010 Specialized Rockhopper Comp Disc. So a few weeks ago, I picked up some Pearl Izumi Elite Thermafleece tights and a balaclava. It's nice to go cycling when it's icy and you're still nice and toasty.

This summer was the best time for fun purchases. I was at home and I picked up a nice 9 mm and a classic cafe racer, a Honda 400.

Yesterday I bought a watch (12,000 won) and a pepperoni pizza (13,000 won); tomorrow a new pair of glasses (estimated 70,000 won).

No plans to buy anything much in 2011. I am not into things so much these days (already have the jeep I want, the big screen tv hooked up to decent computer, books and music galore, and clothes for a couple of years). Last year this time I went on a holiday spending splurge in Vancouver and picked up four pairs of shoes, lots of clothes; the Xmas before that I spent a ton in Guam over the new year holiday.

2011 will be a year of savings simply because there's nothing I really want and while travel is usually my defunction spending option, I'm living on Jeju at the moment and will spend the coming year locally, fully appreciating the island as I expect to move on elsewhere in 2012.

New motorcycle. Always cheaper if you guy them in the winter. However, riding it back home from Seoul in sub-zero temperatures is not fun.

You know, I'd have been all over those doc martins if I were in Korea - since what's his name confirmed the factory/production was sent to China and there's no knockoff deal there. I can't believe no one bought those shoes yet.

@Italy: Heck ya that was a good move. Stay safe!

My first e-reader. I thought I was going to get a Nook but ended up with a Sony PRS-950. I love it, and I've already lined up more than a hundred books to read on it. After a week's use, it's already become one of my three favorite material possessions (along with my laptop and my mp3 player).
