They can't falsly accuse without evidencary proof of a drug test and defintly would be considered lack of probable cause.

The probable cause is, of course, the same standard required to be met in the issuance of drug test, and must be satisfied by conditions existing prior to the (time period of accusation)what is discovered thereafter not sufficing to establish retroactively reasonable cause.

Also, Reasonable Articulable Suspicion includes the procedure of accusation through certain belief of "fair probability" that a crime has been/will be/was commimmeted.

Who is the Consulate Rep at your Local Korean Embessay? Call them and say something about this. They don't need to be sending anymore people over to Korea when stuff like this is going on,

Damn! If they are going to be vindictive why not do the same and tell us the name of the school. Also have your considered asking a lawyer (if you have and want to waste the money) to help you.

I think I also had the same think happen to me. I was refused a few jobs. in Daegu which I had taught at before. I was told by a recruiter that apparently one of my previous schools had bad mouthed me. Never mind I had worked for them for 2 years and had been very patient with their mess ups. So I was refused a few times. STILL one part of me thinks it was the recruiter BSing me. She had jobs elsewhere she need to fill so she tells me that my bridges are burned in Daegu so I will look elsewhere.

Oh no! someone's been falsely accused of falsely accusing someone of being falsely accused..... er something like that.

On a more serious note, hagwans have been known to pull stuff like this.

A friend of mine was once falsely accused of .............. (better left unsaid)

because he refused to renew his contract.

As for legal action, I believe it is possible if you are in Korea and have the money for a lawyer. I don't know what your chances of winning are though.
