I warned you!
Does anyone know where I could get a colonic in seoul or incheon? I'd prefer a very clean medical center. I just got back from vacation and don't have the money for a detox in thailand. |

Thanks for your very useful contribution.
I've done them in the past, so know how effective they are for me.
If anyone would like to be helpful, and not a useless 4-letter word, I'd appreciate it. |

I've done it back home once before. I'd be interested in starting out the new year with a cleanse. I asked my coteacher, and she said that hospitals give enemas, but I'd want the full deal, so shall ask my acupuncturist today and let you know if I hear anything. |

Wow. Could they clean out your mouth whilst they're at it? |

I heard it was addictive and it seems to be true here. |

It's not addictive. I've had it done once, but I just started a diet, so it would be a nice kick start. |

A: What warranted soap? No mod-edits in my post.
B: Over the years I got to be quite a connoisseur of soap. My personal preference was for Lux, but I found Palmolive had a nice, piquant after-dinner flavor - heady, but with just a touch of mellow smoothness. Life Buoy, on the other hand... |

Colonics don't work. Do your research. You're just going to poop it all out the next day, anyways. |

I hear it damages the cell walls and tissues, causing infections, immune system failure and heart failure due to the body not being able to cope with the weird change.
As google tells me:
Quote: |
It is a self-cleaning system that is constantly absorbing nutrients, shedding old cells and keeping a delicate balance of bacteria and natural chemicals. Interfering with this process can upset this balance, meaning the colon won't work as well as it should.
Another possible problem is that people who get this treatment may absorb too much water. This could lead to a chemical imbalance in the body, which could cause nausea, vomiting, fluid in the lungs and heart failure. |
Also It's not a realised medical practice so they can get through all kinds of loopholes should they accidentally penetrate a cell wall and kill you or whatever. |

+1 for the Christmas Story quote.
Also, you can probably buy a kit somewhere and DIY. There are lots of "recipes" for filling the bag, but most of them will irritate those soft tissues. Plain water is best. |
