Feb 2 - feb 6 A friend and I just want to get out of Korea where the weather is warm, and we do not want to spend more then 1,000,000 (each) for flight and some thing to do. We will make reservations this week if it is not too late.
Help! Thanks in advance.

Find an affordable flight to Bangkok and from there take a train or bus to Malaysia or Cambodia or Laos or place in Thailand. Public transportation down there is dirt cheap and accommodation $2 to $10 a night.

It might be too late, there aren't too many cheap flights left. That said, you can still get to Kuala Lumpur on Air Asia for 245,000. The problem is getting back to Korea after that.

I'm finding Cathay Pacific has better fares than the travel agents! Air Asia isn't bad either, but difficult to transact online.

I just checked Cebu Pacific.

If you want to fly out Feb 1 at night, the cheapest ticket to Manila is 300,000 or so but coming back is pricy, at 500,000 or so. If you fly Feb 2nd night(losing one day) it is only 200,000 to get there.

You ould spend that number of days in Philippines for the remaining 300,000 but you wn't be doing much. If you decde to go this route,I recommend going to Puerto Galera after pulling an all-nighter or finding a super cheap place in Manila to crash.

You can get to Puerto Galera from Manila for less than $20 each. There are cheap fan rooms in PG for $12 a night or so, andfood is like $4-5 a meal, cheaper is possible. Beaches are free and tricyces are next to nothing.

Departure tax from Manila airport is $20 each.

PM me if you want more details.

That's what I'm seeing as well, but that Air Asia KL flight sucks for that short of a trip, given the times involved, unless you left on that Tuesday night (which is more expensive).

Taiwan. Flight to Taipei. Take the train down south. It's not going to be hot, but it will be pleasant.
