Both would be fine. Get the cheaper one if all you want to do is watch video. I have no idea about the rest of your system, but depending on how old it is, these cards (PCI-E) may be too new.
Try getting the system specs before buying, just to make sure all will be well. The program below will help you with this. Post back with the results, particularly regarding which motherboard it identifies you as having.

I have a GeForce 8800 I will give you for free, provided you do the legwork to get down to meet me. It will suffice for what you need. PM me if you like. |

Thanks for the info languistic.
My comp specs are as follows:
Intel core2duo [email protected]
Model 15 stepping 6
Motherboard: Meditech P4M900-8237
I read the motherboard manual and it said:
1 x PCI-Express x 16 slot
2 x 32-bit PCI slot
16-lane PCI Express
Fully compliant to PCI Express Base specs revision 1.0a
Is that enough info to know if the video cards I previously posted would work on my computer?
Thanks for the offer about your GeForce 8800. If that's all I need, I'll definitely pick it up from you. Could you PM me your location. |
Sure, all looks good. However, it is not an 8800. but an Asus GeForce 7900. Still, it will suit your needs. It works just fine, I just don't need it in any of my systems. |
