Well, I FOUND IT! At HomePlus (in Gaegeum, Busan, for those curious)! Granted it was garlic ranch....but...effing amazing!! I don't remember which brand, but it was definitely something mainstream along the lines of Hidden Valley.
Unfortunately I just got a crap ton of ranch dressing packets in the mail from my dad so I didn't buy it. But...children...go forth and patronize! We need to encourage good behavior! ^^ |

Good find.
Also, easily made from mayo and sour cream plus a few spices. You can even sub plain yogart for the sour cream. Google it |

Yes, but that requires energy...and initiative...two things I struggle with achieving, lol. |

I love ranch and I used to get it shipped from Canada, but not any more! The foreign food mart in Itaewon has Kraft ranch and caesar salad dressing for sale. I think it's about 5,000 won. Enjoy |

RAAAAAAAAAANCH!
Yes, I'm happy to have found it in HomePlus as well. It's some crappy Garlic mess of a sauce, but it's still got ranchiness to it, so it'll do.
This thread should have 1000 comments and be made sticky, and every day people should write a story about why they love Ranch. Because Ranch dressing is the best sauce in the world. The best. |

I don't like it, but ranch is/was also at the Homeplus near Ori Station (Bundang) for the first time last week. Same flavor: the garlic kind. It was near the sauces and imported pickles. |

I like ranch a lot too, but I have found the taste of ranch varies greatly from brand to brand, and some are not that great at all. Even some of the mainstream ones.
I usually change up regularly with my salad dressing anyway, just like I do with my beer and wine. I am currently on a bleu cheese phase. Variety is the spice of life! |

I agree. Some ranches are just butt-nasty. The garlic one common in Korea is alright. Still looking for a reliable source of great ranch, apart from care packages.
PS Ranch is awesome in Bibimbap. Give it a shot. |

LOL! I totally thought of Simon first thing when I spied it. Is that creepy?
I'll try it on bibimbap. My kids are making canaps in our winter camp on Monday and I convinced my co-teacher to also allow them to enjoy cut veggies and ranch ::evil laugh:: |

I've seen the dry packets in some black market stores in Songtan. |
