Does anyone know where I might find a "Transfer consent form" example? What should be included? Can it be written in English or should it be in Korean?

Thanks

Not sure, it gives my new employer permission to transfer my visa. My contract ends Feb 28 and the new contract begins March 1. The new school wants to process my visa in the meantime. Is that a letter of release?

Yes, that's a letter of release (LOR).

Here's a "reason for wanting a transfer" example letter. You'll need to submit one of these as well. You just print it off and sign it. No stamps or such.

January 05, 2011

Dear Sir or Madam,

I, Jonathan Bartholomew Goode, request to transfer my E2 visa to a different employer. I make this request because I am about to finish my employment contract at my current employer (a private language school). I would like to continue working in Korea as an English teacher. My current employer has agreed to allow me to transfer to another employer in Korea at the end of my current employment. I have been offered a job at another employer which I would like to accept.

Regards,

Jonny B. Goode
