This is in regards to the spousal F2 Visa. I've tried to use this search engine, and the specialized one to no avail. When I go to apply for my F2 Visa which immigration office would I have to use. I currently live in Goyang which has a satellite office near Ilsan but my wife lives in Yeonsinnae which is in Seoul and covered by the office in Omokgyo. I will be moving to Yeonsinnae come March so I'll have to change the address on my ARC as well. So, with all that being said which office would we have to apply for my F2 at? Also, does anybody have a link to the exactlist of documents needed with their Korean/English names? The immigration website is useless as usual.. |

It can be a problem applying for an F-2 while you don't live together. I've heard stories and it seems (kind of obviously) that immigration does not like this way - meaning you might get a refusal. The least you can expect is a lots of lots of questions around this issue. If you can, I would suggest to wait till you live together. |

If I had to guess, I'd choose the Omokgyo office. If you already have an ARC, I presume you also have an E2 or some other visa, is that right? Why would you apply for an F2? |

I do have an E2 but I will become a married man soon and can change my visa to a spousal visa F2. It removes a lot bureaucratic obstacles (some of which are valid) in order to get a job. |

listen to this guy. It would be better to wait until you both have the same address. |

I'd be planning on changing my address at that time to the address that we'd be living at. I' m just curious since I'd be changing my address to a Seoul address if we'd have to go to Omokgyo or not.. |

If the main office (Omokyo) has jurisdiction over the your new residence then that is where you apply for your change of status.
