|
|
My little sister is coming to visit me for 10 days the end of january and the beginning of Feb. Its her first trip out of NA and I really want to show her a good time. My bf came up with an idea to take her to see the great wall as a belated xmas gift or early birthday present.
I was wondering if anyone knew of a travel agent or agency to book 3 cheap tickets to Beijing around the above time. I'm hoping for something under 300 a ticket. |

You are aware that you may face visa issues (will you have 6 months or more remaining on your ARC at the time of your application)?
Depending on where she is from she may need to obtain a Chinese tourist visa from the Chinese embassy in her home country before she arrives here.
Look at China Air for cheap seats. (their website is usually competitive with all but a couple of the on-line Korean discount ticket webites).

We (my bf and I) have 8 months remaining on our ARCs. It won't be an issue to have a tourist visa issued in Canada for her. Thanks, I'll check out China Air |

My BAD... Air China, not China Air.
Air China flies to the mainland.
China Air is based out of Taiwan and does NOT fly to mainland destinations.
Sorry.

Thanks everyone, the lowest I've found on all the sites has been 400ish, 430~470 quote by the travel agents I know of. I guess its just a bad time of year for tickets. |

A local shop in my neighbourhood says 160,000 plus tax on a billboard. Your date could be sold out. PM me if you want me to check for you.

Got a cheap flight for early Feb to Shanghai 300k using China eastern airlines through expedia.com (+60k visa seperately). This is at Chinese new year vacation and its one of the few cheap deals considering peak prices. Try expedia for the end of Jan and they should have the best offers |
