If you do, I'm amazed. I didn't know it was possible to speak an alphabet.

Seriously folks, stop saying "I can speak Hangul." No, you can't. Nobody can. Hangul is not a language. I can't believe how many times I hear foreigners say this.

Koreans do it too. It's pretty much the same as how people will say "write this in English letters" when they're really Latin letters.

she's obviously never been to Glasgow, it's not so much an accent as a load of noises and grunts thrown together with some swear words

I have been. I don't like all Scottish accents, just like I don't like all English accents, just like I don't like all American accents.

I do like some Scottish accents, just like I do like some English accents, just like I like some American accents.

I speak hangul in the same way I speak binary. Which is to say, it's a written language and I can't read it.
