Whats wrong with running away?
Also, I have very little respect for someone who went to college to teach ESL. I wouldnt mind teaching for a while. However, it would be teaching something I cared about, trying to get others to care about it - most likely porn. I love english, let me spread it with my wisdom blah blah blah. And if you wanted to teach ESL for a life you must be kidding yourself that you NEVER thought about the girls and getting involved with a foreign girl. I know too many overweight absolute wankers who show off their korean girlfriends/wives that its ridiculous.
OP- Tough situation but just tell her the truth. Either that of just be tepid about hanging out with them and act uncomfortable. Maybe she will stop inviting you. |
Do you little respect for someone who went to teach ESL? Who gives a shit what you think? Your two bob thoughts from your two watt brain has no relevance on the fact that someone who took ESL would one day be teaching it somewhere other than their home country. Not running away at all. The reasons why you are in Korea are totally different from my reasons.
Nope, never thought about getting a woman with it at all, it just seemed interesting and useful and that is how it turned out to be as I have never been unemployed since graduation. Most of my class were females. True dat.
Stick to the porn fella, it is giving your arm a good workout if nothing else. |
ooOOOOoo. Sounds like *somebody* cares what we are saying. |
It is very therapeutic to troll online isn't it gloubtron - troll with real people in real life would end up with a punch in the face - now run along little boy. |

Should you be doing the three inch pelvic shuffle with your Canadian beached whale? |

| I know a whole lot of married couples who don't get on well with their partner's friends, and their marriage survives and even thrives. I don't think it is a big deal as the long of you two realize that and are comfortable with it. |

Whales have pretty huge migration patterns. You'll have to be more specific than Canadian beached whale. There are a lot of whales that traverse the seas of canada... |

No Gloubtron - your trolling has took a downturn - come back when you shown the flair that you did in your earlier posts. I might play then. You have become boring overnight - sort it out!

Oddly convenient that my trolls have become 'boring' ever since it attacked you. Even though I wasn't attacking anybody. *rubs chin*
Fascinating turn of events.
My desk is clean. I am slim, so is the girl of mine, I'm tidy, I'm a little sick, I'm a geek but I have good friends.
Anything else you want to pick on? I don't feel like I've covered all grounds but I can safely assume you will trust my every word on how I live my life. |

I was talking about the post that 'attacked' me you brain donor - your crap rebuttal about migrating Canadian whales was quite rubbish. The world class trolls we used to have on here, the likes of 'spliff and nightsky would have made mincemeat of you.
When blokes say they are slim - it means they are weedy and are need a bit of muscle on their frame - I am sure you can fit in the gym along with doing the 3 inch shuffle with Alberta Aggie and your lame ass 'trolling' attempts on here.
Glad to hear you are clearing after yourself - the adjumma bollocking you got at work has sorted you out.
Is there anything else? Hmmmm - no thats all Gloubtron - you are dismissed! |

True, I should work out. But then again, I don't care enough about what others think.
It's why I called myself a pseudo troll. If I was a troll in the way I am on the music forum I use, I would be blocked from here pretty instantly. Unfortunately this site is actually... as much as I don't enjoy admitting, useful and occasionally interesting. So I'd like to stay.
But if I am dismissed then back on topic in the off topic. You clearly won this round, wagmir or whatever, don't you worry. The man with the last word always wins (which I'm sure you're soon to provide).
On topic... I think it's a bit dramatic to say the relationship will never work out if you can't get with their friends. However... The friends generally say something about the partners real personality, which is often a lot more than the personality they will have around you. I'd rather have access to the whole package, rather than just what they're like around me. |

@wiagner
Dont get angry. If you went to college to teach ESL because its a steady job good on ya. Same goes for engineers, lawyers, nurses etc. But...not thinking about the women before coming here is either a lie or you are a fake person.
I didnt come to Korea for the girls but Ive been told by many guys about asian women and teaching here. Also I happend to see a vietnam movie or two, or read the history of the korean war, or looked on this website, or went to school with koreans, or...well I guess the point is Im a real human and you are apparently not. |

No, I didn't go into teaching English for the girls. I didn't even like Asian girls until I landed in Korea. My old man said 'you will be bringing back a pretty wife from there' and I said 'No chance' It did actually happen but it wasn't pre-planned. If women was what it was all about, I would have gone straight to Russia! As easy to get a job there as it is (or was at the time) in Korea.
Nothing wrong with coming here for the girls, there is nothing wrong with any of the reasons people come here, to make money, have a bit of adventure, learn another language, experience a different culture... whatever it is that makes you leave your comfort zone then it is all good but I would be a liar to say the top reason for coming out here was for the women. Most of the Asian women you see in England are quite ugly - I wasn't chasing any of them down the road with lust believe me. |

Isn't that a little... racist? Just a little.
I could argue hypocritical too, since the complaints about me 'stereotyping'. |

No, you moron - it was (is) my personal preference, and I also stated that some Asian women were nice, though admittedly, not all that many to my eye.
If I said all Asian women are ugly, that would quite racist I suppose but then I would err on the side of someone stating a personal preference if someone said that.
Your stereotype on the other hand was quite ridiculous Globotron - go back and have another look at it. |

Hey, I'm not a moron, I'm pretty intelligent, actually. Don't say things like that.
And no it isn't your personal preference. It's stereotyping. Most Asians in England (category) are ugly (derogatory remark).
It's no different to saying 'most black people in Africa are stupid'.
Racism doesn't require you to lump an entire continent into one category of negative assumptions, since people tend to differ throughout. Look at a Thai and then look at a Japanese.
Then look at one Thai and one Japanese in England. Suddenly they are collectively uglier, huh? How does that make sense.
= Racism and/or stereotyping. |
