I've been in Korea for a while and my Korean is ok, just ok...not great. I've studies a little at YBM, but was not really happy with it for a few reasons. Does any on here take one-on-one lessons to learn Korean? If so, can you recommend a teacher? Much appreciated.

Given what you are saying you must be way past Pimsleur or Rosetta Stone. I would scour the internet for more Korean (there's tons of free stuff), look at Panda's website she has some Korean language websites.
Here is a website from the Official Korean website

One on one teaching is expensive but would be good for specific Korean language needs that you would have, like how Korean grammer works and specific content that you want to say to Koreans.
Below is a Korean language company recommended by The Lonely Planet Korea book

I too would love to learn some better Korean.
I'm not very good learning online. I would prefer a teacher.
If anyone knows a good teacher in the Nowon-gu area..
Please email me.

Especially if you're running around saying "Komsumnida". I assume you're trying to say Komapsumnida. Private Korean tutors aren't that expensive, i've seen postings for anywhere from 20,000 to 30,000 for 1-2 hour lesson. |

I'm guessing he meant Kam-sam-ni-da, just spelled it wrong. |

It's Romanized 'kamsa hamnida', or some variation thereof depending on the Romanization system you prefer. There's an 'h' in there. |

thank you can also be said Kamsai Essemnida (I am thankful isn't it so), its less formal. In Chungnam people just say Kamsai. Doesn't work in Seoul though. If its after a nice meal at someones home or a restaurant you might say Chonmeil Chael Mogopsimnida (I ate really well isn't it so !) |

I have looked into some of the online stuff, but I want more conversation practice. I'm hoping someone can give a good recommendation. |

Or you could try not saying it in romanized at all and practice writing in Korean- 감사합니다! (hope I didn't screw it up, my spelling isn't the best) Hangul is pretty easy and can be learned in no time, that would be a good start. |
