| Ok, let me get this straight. KT will contract out the Iphone to foreigners with a Korean credit card SK will not. Do I have to buy the phone outright or will they put the phone on a contract? |
Sk won't because SK doesn't sell iPhones.
Whether KT will or not is up to the individual retailer. |
Alright. I will visit a few KT stores and see what happens. |

How much is it? Did you have to pay up front, or are doing a payment plan?
thanks.. |

Recommend you got to a KT Global Store branch. I'm 100% positive that KT now allows E2 Visa to get iPhone. See KT's own blog:

See my earlier post, yes E2's are allowed to get the iPhone. As are MANY different visa types.
E1 and E2 visas should have no problem getting an iPhone from a retailer that doesn't mind dealing with us "waygookin". |

I'm doing the 24 month payment plan, I paid 30,000W up front to activate the Iphone (It took them a few days to do it) and I chose the I-value plan. So my bills should be somewhere around 70,000 a month for unlimited data (with tethering allowed) 300minutes talk time and 300 txts.
Going to the global store is a great idea - if your in Seoul - I'm not so I chose to do everything online and it all worked out perfectly. I'm super happy with the phone and fast delivery. |
