Does anybody know where exactly the Kyobo Bookstore is from AK Plaza nearby Seohyun Station?
I've had a look around the area but can't find it. Thanks in advance!

when you're inside AK plaza, exit the side near gucci (when you walk outside, you see mad garlic on the left). go to the end of the pedestrian area, cross the street, and it is below dunkin' donuts. you can walk past dunkin' donuts and there are stairs leading down to kyobo.

Every time that I go in there, the English book section is worse than before. I don't bother anymore. In fact, i don't bother with most bookstores in Korea anymore. I don't even like What The Book. The old location was cramped and limited in selection, but the new one seems only to have a lot more crap and the way that things are categorized makes no sense. I can't generally can't find the best-selling second hand fiction because it's mixed in with whatever else, and the religion shelf is full of what I would consider popular non-fiction (i.e. Dawkins and Hocking) while adjascent shelves carry the labels of some of the major religions, but do not carry the major texts of those religions.

if you live in bundang it's nice to go to kyobo, even if just to browse, but i was disappointed to learn they no longer carry english lonely planet books other than korea and seoul.

Thanks! I need to go there to pick up some ESL books after work tomorrow. It's a shame to hear that the English book section is going downhill though.

The Seohyun Kyobo English section is extremely small and poor. I'd rather jump on the subway and go to Bandi & Luni's at the COEX or to the Kyobo in Gangnam.
