What cute or funny thing has your dog or cat done lately? Paint us a word picture!

I think the funniest thing that my cat has been doing lately has to do with getting me to wake up earlier and earlier because she gets fed first thing in the morning. She has begun sticking her cute, wet nose in my ear.

In addition to this, her favorite toy is the least brilliant thing that I could think of. A piece of yarn attached to a stick. it used to have a fuzzy thing attached, but when offered the string and another toy that does have a fuzzy thing on it, she clearly prefers the plain old piece of string.

My rat sounds like a pigeon when he snores. He also bounces when he's excited.

My two dogs like to spoon. Legs wrapped around each other and everything.

One of the pet cockroaches that came as a free gift with my old apartment tried to crawl into my mouth when I was sleeping.

My darling feline also enjoys waking me early in the morning. Her preferred approach is a series of plaintive yowls, varying in pitch and tone, so that they absolutely CANNOT be ignored. Sometimes she chooses to dash rapidly down the length of my body and then under the bed. This method is especially effective if I am not wearing a shirt.

Now being woken up at 4am by my hairy alarm clock isn't that bad in itself. I've gotten used to it and sometimes it's a good way for me to get some important stuff done, like posting on daves, before I go to work. What really gets my goat though, is that I can't for the life of me fathom why she needs to rouse me out of my slumber. She already has plenty food and water, and any attempts at cuddling and affection are turned away.

In fact, when I eventually do get up, she inevitably crawls under the bed and falls asleep. I think she's pure evil.

I have two turtles. They are neither funny or cute.
