In public school you have to exchange your shoes for sandals upon entering.

sometimes you must remove shoes, sometimes not. I've noticed it (removing shoes) more at kindergartens. but i think it just depends on the school and how it is set up. |

sometimes. might bring a comfortable pair of warm slippers for the winter if you're coming in. if you ask the recruiter to ask your school, you may, or may not get a straight answer as to how your school functions. |

^^^What he said, it's more common at the kindies. Which sucks for me, as I wear US size 15. I can't find slippers anywhere in this country, and have been teaching in my socks for the last year. |

Can't you just wear shoes you only put on indoors? If so, you can probably find some shoes that fit you in Seoul, or on the Internet. |
