same as a bad elementary hagwon or good elementary hagwon.
I would say the only real difference (aside from things like bosses, if the hagwon makes money, working hours, contracts honored, that stuff) is the Koeran Co-teachers.
If the K teachers keep the kindy kids in line, working at a kindy can be a dream, but if they dont, a class full of screaming, crawling, crying, nose pickers can be nightmare.
My kindy is pretty amazing I think, but we do have one (out of 5 classes) where the K teacher just doesn't discipline worth a damn. Because of this, that class is dreaded by all foreign teachers. |

I see Korean teachers get blamed for lack of discipline way more than they deserve. When kids first come to the school, sure, the Korean teachers are necessary to help enforce discipline. Once they've been there for a couple months though, you should really be able to fly solo without calling for the Korean teachers every time one of your kids gets out of line. |
