Does anyone have any suggestions on where to get passport photos taken in Seoul, and more specifically around Yatap, Bundang.

Most subway stations have some self-serve photo kiosks. They look like the photo booths you'd see back home (that kids and couples use to take fun pictures), but you can also use them to take passport photos. It's 8,000 won for 6 passport photos, and you can choose English instructions.

Almost all of the Home Plus and Lotte Marts I've been to have a photo counter that can take and print passport and ARC photos for you.

There are also a lot of local photo shops in my city that offer the service, but the bigger stores offer better prices.

At the bus terminal, right at Yatap station. There is an automated machine there.

Go down to Seohyeon a few stops, there are at least 2 places there that do photos (very quickly and nicely, too).

passport photos?

As is passport type photos for visa applications, etc = any subway automatic photo machine will do.

As in real passport photos = depends on where you are from (many countries have SPECIFIC requirements for their passport photos.

If your are Canadian (as an example) you can download the photo specifications page from their website and any photo shop (like the ones at home plus, e-mart, lotte-mart, or any place with a Kodak/Fuji sign out front (like the one across the street from Yatap station), etc) will do them to spec and sign the back (as the photographer) as required by the passport office.

The same is true for all the other countries as well.

Oh, and Yatap / Bundang is NOT in Seoul. You would be in Seongnam-si, Bundang-gu, Yatap-dong.

.

I have seen many photo shops in Korea that had a poster showing the US passport photo requirements hanging in the shop, if that's what you need.
