Scenario: a friend of mine lived in Korea for a year. He is looking into getting citizenship in another country. They require a criminal background check from every country that you lived in for the last 5 years. He currently lives in HK, but wants to know if it is possible to get the Korean Criminal Background Check without having to come to Korea.
Anyone? Ttompatz?

As far as I know, the only way to get a Korean criminal background check outside Korea is through a Korean Embassy or consulate in your friends country.
