|
|
I am not much of tech person so I am looking for some advice. I would love to have a tablet to read my comic book collection (about 100g) of old marvel and dc. I hate reading them on the computer; I want to do it on the couch.
An ipad seems like overkill. I was looking at a zenthithink zt-180. Do you think a low cost android tablet would be enough for this task? If not this one...any of the Chinese knock-offs.
Thanks for any and all help |

| The Archos 101 and 70 models seem to be pretty nice. Both run on Android and are relativly cheap, though prob still more expensive then chinese knock-offs |

| Have a gander at www.mp4nation.net. You can chat to one of the owners who might be able to steer you in the right direction. |

| I too have a decent collection of older comics, but can't help ya on a cheap reader - I use my iPad and really enjoy it. Far better than on the comp. |

While on vacation, I made the mistake of buying an inexpensive Chinese knockoff of the iPhone last year and I will never do it again. While it works, it has a horrible, low resolution, resistive touch screen and I would have been better off saving the 50,0000W to put towards an iPod Touch later.
I'm not saying to buy Samsung or Apple, but definitely spend a little more money to buy a proven product. And I would get my hands on it person first before I ordered it.
I think you should wait for the tablet wars to start in the next coming months (if you can). Apparently there were a lot of devices at the CES. |
