New development from my recruiter:

EPIK have yet to give us any information about orientation yet. The only thing we have been verbally told is that there are two arrival places for applicants depending on the placement location.
That means there are two orientation sites this year.
1 in or around Incheon and 1 in or around Busan
Depending on where you are placed, you will be attending one of these.
I know I am trying to guess what EPIk have planned, and the above is nothing official. But like you, I am just trying to get any information I can.
EPIK are always very organised and very professional. It is just that they are VERY slow with info coming in.

A potential problem for us may be that the arrival days could be the same day for both orientations.
Airport pickup days simultaneously happening on opposite sides of the country would make it impossible for us to be in two places at once.

We have asked EPIK to consider this as we like to meet all of you when you arrive and help you with your bags to the EPIK bus. Obviously if the two airport days are in different airports, that is impossible.
Our inside guy at EPIK says that the arrival days will be on the same day, but with 20 recruiting companies complaining about this, there could be a change.

I know though that if you are going to Seoul, Incheon or Gyeonggi you will be going to Incheon airport.

I haven't received my NOA yet. I'm hoping it will arrive within the next 2 weeks. After that an other 8 days for the visa. I think I'll be cutting it very fine.

I hope everything will be ready before I depart.

The trip to Jeonju will be longer than the flight

Alright holy cow, so we'll fly into Incheon then bus or train to Jeonju? Should be a fun, long trip. I haven't heard anything from my recruiter about orientation yet. I went through ILoveESL, anyone else use this recruiter?

I used footprints.

They mentioned that there will be free buses from 7:30am - 10:30am to take us to the University campus.

One flight that I'm thinking of getting arrives from Hong kong at 4:30am so I'll have a lot of sitting around doing nothing for several hours plus a long bus ride to the campus. It will be a very long day.

wonder how many hangovers will be had during the Busan orientation. Bukyoung is a mere block away from all the Kyungsung action.
