I'm not confident about this. We played terribly against India. Maybe it was hard to play at a high intensity considering the opposition but too many long balls and the players were too slow, and there was very little movement off the ball.

The central midfield pairing of Culina and Jedinak lacked energy and aren't very creative. Instead, I would start McKay, great workrate and knows how to create space and link up play with his movement and short passing, and Kilkenny, whose creativity would be a huge benefit to our dour side.

Also, Brett Holman up front was a surprise in the World Cup but showed his technical deficiences again on Monday with some embarassing touches, we should be starting Burns, who has a much better technique.

Carney is also terrible, but we don't have any decent replacement for him.

Unfortunately experience always trumps ability in picking the Socceroos side, so we'll start a player sitting on the bench at an English club with no match experience for months, over a younger more talented player in great form playing for a less known club.

Korea looked fantastic against Bahrain, and really should have won by more. I'm sure we'll lift from our previous game. But I'm not sure if it'll be enough.

My girlfriend suggested she supports Australia and I cheer for Korea. I agreed cuz I told her Korea's gonna win anyway.

Australia for some reason reverts to the big kicking game every now and then, I never understand that. I mean the kicking game is reserved for the team showing little confidence going forward and showing the other team they will put as many of their men behind the ball as they can.

Australia has more power then Korea as the Korean team looks like they decided not to eat for 10yrs so I hope Australia start off pushing hard in tackles and trying to put them of their game.

I expect Australia to get some yellows and maybe a red, and I hope our long balls forward come from the mids and not the backs as this will just apply more pressure throughout the game. And knowing the Australian team they tend not to gel so well like other teams they go abit hot and cold especially in defence.

I really hope the boys apply the passing game and show they can be the side that beat England and the Netherlands!

We need to stop living off that victory over England. It's been almost eight years. Only four players from our current squad were around back then, and they're all over thirty now.

We need to start grooming our younger generation. The only three starting players from our match against India who are gonna be younger than mid-thirties come 2014 are Jedinak, Carney and Holman, and they were just about three of our worst players. While we're a little thin on talent in the mid-twenties generation that directly proceeds our current national team regulars, there's a number of players emerging in the youth ranks that I have high hopes for. Our Under 20 team was fantastic in last year's Under 19 Asian Championships. We lost the final because of some dumb defensive errors, but there's a lot of talent in that group, and our Under 17's made the semi-finals. Our Coaching staff need to take risks and start giving some of these players a chance. Korea did it giving Koo Ja-Cheol a chance the other day and he was fantastic.

The biggest danger to Korea is Australia in the air on set pieces and crosses. IF they can stop that, and work the quick counterattacks up the wings they'll have a good chance. I think this will be a good game, i look forward to it. DAE HAN MIN GUK!
