I have 3 invites to a GREAT private tracker IPTorrents available.
I'll give them away, but would also be willing to take a Waffles invite, though it's not necessary.
What I do ask is that you send me a screen shot of a private tracker you're now on with my ID in the search bar and your username and other personal info blotted out.
Also, for those interested in private trackers, check out this link:
http://www.torrent-invites.com/index.php?referrerid=50959
Remember that the torrent community is about SHARING not about what you can acquire. Hence, at the above invite website, trading is ABSOLUTELY FORBIDDEN, which is why I will simply give away the invites.
Those interested e-mail me at nstick13 {at} gmail {dot} com
Cheers! |

It's maybe not the appropriate thread but I am a member of asiatorrents (which is private) and in terms of speed and quantity of torrents there is not much difference between them and fantasticsuperclub (which isnt private)
http://www.fantasticsuperclub.org/forum/index.php?act=idx
I would like to give invites to asiatorrents but my ratio is crapola (i have to donate to keep membership) due to slow internet (not in Korea currently)
When I do get, I will give to whoever wants but with asian flicks I don't see the need for private trackers if speed is not the issue |

| Can anyone recommend me a good torrent site for ebooks that will work for the kindle? It's fine if they can be eventually converted with calibre. I've been searching for a good site but haven't been able to find any since I got a kindle a week ago. |

Tough to find a good one--lots of random stuff up there, rarely what you're looking for.
www.elbitz.com has open sign-ups right now, and aren't bad. |

why invites to other torrent sites when the commercial ones have everything anyway?
Kickasstorrents, ISO Hunt, and BT Junkie have everything. |

Ok master, why don't you enlighten me?
I have been downloading with torrents since the genesis of torrent time.
I have used private sites and commercial sites, and I found that what ever I need can be had at commercial sites.
maybe I am not looking for obscure things? |

The vast amount of UK TV shows out there are only available via a private tracker. Hardly that obscure. There is one private tracker which gets just about every show that airs, and only a small percentage of that trickles out to the commercial places. |

Seeing as the vast majority of downloaders don't watch UK TV shows I would say that yes, they are obscure. |

I use private trackers for:
- Korean movies in DVD5/9 format. Lightning speeds and easy to keepa good ratio.
- Scene and non-scene released movies in DVD5/9 format. More seeds/leechers, and better speeds that the public sites.
People tend to seed longer so movies stay available for years, it's easier to find older and more obsucre stuff.
Also, private trackers have more of a community feel, and I like being a member of these sites. |

Since the tracker, which is only UK TV shows, has almost 100,000 users, and is ridiculously active, no, I wouldn't really call it obscure. A fair number of british shows regularly find there way to the regularly mainstream commercial trackers, but the bulk of it doesn't. If those shows are popular enough to get spread there, I would say that UK TV shows in general have an appeal far beyond obscure, say Doctor Who.
You do realize that is a UK TV show right? |
