ok, so an 64gb ipod touch at frisbee costs about 579k and it costs only 370$ at walmart.com
is it better to order it from an american site then have a friend ship it over? what's up with customs? will they put a tax on it? sorry if this an old old question but the search button doesn't work. (i didn't even attempt to use the search button but enough people have used that excuse so i'm going to use it too ) |

In my experience, ordered from walmart.com and had sent to a family member. I think I also avoided U.S. taxes as well from the online Walmart site ( I'll have to check the invoice, sent to Nevada). Had family members also pack toothpaste, deoderant, etc. in the same box and it was no problem. |

Ordered an ipod classic 160 gb from a reputable dealer on ebay for 270,000 won and got it in a week. No hassles whatsoever.
I'm sure you could get a good deal on the same site. |

Don't know if this is really true, and to what end, but a Korean told me that Verizon opened a store in Kangnam recently. Verizon sells all those tablets with coverage - I know it's a stretch, but what if you could buy one from Verizon and have them deliver to Korea. Just wondering. If you want to see the new Motorolla zoom, it's on their site. They also just said they are going to be selling the iphone 4 starting next month. |

if your friend takes it out of the box and marks the label as personal used goods than it shouldn't get dinged by customs. |
