A Ladies Clothing Swap in Seoul was held a few months back and based on it's modest success, another one is being planned for mid-February. This may become a regular event.

Hmm, very interested in this! I wear a US size 12 for trousers, size Large for most tops and dresses. Think I'd be able to find anything there and/or have some of my clothes accepted for trade-in? I have a few pairs of trousers that are getting mighty loose on me now from the inches I've lost in the past 3 months.

Yes. We had people of all sizes and some people brought in larger clothes as they had lost weight. You could always come and see what's there. If you don't find anything, then just take your things back home. But you should find stuff.

I took a large top that I liked and sewed up the sides to make it smaller. A couple of us are crafty, so use the material for other stuff.

Yeah, I'm in the "lost weight and now my clothes don't fit" category for sure! I have size 14 and 16 trousers that are in nice condition, but are falling off me! I'll be sure to swing by if I don't have anything else going on that weekend (which... I probably won't, knowing me XD).

I also enjoy doing crafty things with fabric (I make doll clothes and stuff), but not having a sewing machine or a lot of my other supplies here makes me sad. Sad I've got a few spools of thread, needles, and pins for mending, but not much else.
