Hi,

Does anyone know if all Korean universities begin classes on the same date in September for the Fall 2011 semester? Or is each university different?

I'm considering studying in Korea but I'd like to find a univ that starts later in the fall to give myself more time at home between teaching and studying.

If you work at a univ, can you please tell me on what date did your univ start in fall 2010 or will it start in fall 2011? Thanks!

Yonsei Uni GSIS has start dates in March and September. Don't know about others. Probably best to contact them directly when you inquire about the course you want study.

I remember my university starting the last week of August/first week of september, but I think your best bet is to check their websites.

The start of the 'school year' is in March though as other people have said.

Carleverson, you wrote that all schools start on the last week of Sept. But others have written to the contrary.

Which univs do you know which begin classes at the end of Sept. Can you please give me univ names if possible? Thanks

Does anyone know the names of some univs which start after the first week of Sept (obviously referring to Fall semester).

Thx again

"ALL" of them do not. Some start last week of August, some first week of Semptember (same for February/March).

OP, as others have said, you need to see the academic calendar of the university you are interested in. MOST will have the same start date, but not ALL.
