Hello there,
I am currently residing in Japan and will be visiting korea next month. Just wondering if its possible to get a pre-paid cell phone in Korea. If anyone could direct me to any site etc. it would be truly appreciated. Thank you very much! |

Yes, you can get a card-phone. The easiest place to get one is in Itaewon, there are 2-3 cell-phone stores on the road behind the Burger King. An SK, a no-name store and a KT. They also have used phones so you can get one cheap if you're only going to be in the country for a month.
Basically you have your phone and then you get a little card and you call a number on your phone, enter a pin and it loads you up on minutes. Not cheap tho.. its like 10,000 won for 20 minutes. |
