I've never used this recruiter, but they sent me an interesting e-mail.
TWO BIRDS WITH ONE STONE
Dear my teachers
I hope you are in the best. As you see, we are the top company specialized in GEPIK. Therefore we are working with thousands of teachers to help them finding schools. We need thousands of teachers all the time. But I have a limitation to recruit teachers because of the geological and linguistic problems even though the new semester is coming and I need a number of teachers every year.
I would like to propose you that you provide us good and qualified esl teachers. like as your family, friends and acquaintances. Could you contact me if you are interested in this area pls? We will compensate you in case he/she is hired. You may help both og ma nad your acquaintances to catch two of birds with one stone. I hope we have a great 2011 together.
It is getting cold. Keep warm in a good health. . Thanks for your time.
Regards

"As you see (no, I don't), we are the top company specialized in GEPIK" and we've got thousands of teachers applying to us, but could you please find us more? We'll give you a cut of the recruiting fee! |

Yeah, I used them for my job too. They were better than a lot of other recruiters I tried to work with! The woman who wrote the email is the Korean liason for the Canadian recruiting company TESLK (?). Random email though-if there are so many applicants, why do they need our help?!?! |

I'm sure they need all the help they can get since so many of their current applicants have "geological" problems. |

Ya. Tell me about it. Just yesterday another volcano opened up in the middle of an intersection on my way to work. Now I have to spend an extra 20 minutes to walk all the way around the lava flows. And don't even get me started about the earthquakes. I can't even begin to count the number of bikes and pets that I've lost when a crack opened in the ground and swallowed them up. Heck, half of my apartment fell collapsed last month after the tremors. But I guess it's a blessing of sorts because the mudslide a week later blocked my front door. If it weren't for the gaping hole in the wall, I'd have to climb out the window. |

Or rather: "please help us to find more unqualified people because we have too many qualified ones applying. |
