I just sent mine yesterday. Tuesday of this week i went to my local Sheriff's department and the lady that did them was rude and I don't think they came out good. She had my wipe my fingers after I did the right hand and then did my left. I'm no expert but they didn't look too good and I didn't have another form on me, it was free so I guess I can't complain too much. So yesterday I went to my local police department and they did them on the computer and then printed it off on the form. The computer "accepted" them so I'm really hoping the FBI accepts these prints. For the record I did send both copies in just in case. I'm anxious to see what ones get accepted if any.
