hi all,

if any of the forum experts can please advise... what salary package should I be asking for as a part time employee?

my hagwon has cut my classes in half (12 classes per week : 40 minute classes - for february onwards) so im anticipating them wanting to cut me back to a part time salary package. I would like to be able to negotiate a decent package.

i have been working full time (25 classes per week : 40 min classes) for 16months, 2.3mil won + all the other standard stuff (accommodation, airfare, pension, health insurance, severance).

i would be happy with: 1.15 mil won plus continue to stay in my apartment rent free. Is this a reasonable demand on par with what's on offer in the market?

i should still get my return airfare,pension, health insurance & severance so of course i will bring these up, but don't forsee any problems securing these additional benefits.

Well if they haven't said anything they might have alternate plans in mind.

Like maybe they won't pay you at all....

That's what happened to me a few years back.
