I keep seeing threads on people pulling runners, or griping about their shady bosses.

Does the majority of bad experiences come from bad co-workers, bad students, or maybe the living conditions??

Only reason I asked this is because I used to work at a horrible public school in America where there were fights, drugs, drama, and all kinds of pressure to get students to pass the state test. And from reading some of these post, it seems some teachers may have it worst than I had.

I know we all come from all walks of life. We all have different beliefs, and experiences.

But is teaching ESL that BAD? Honest answers please. If it is, can you explain why? Im not being sarcastic, or trying to start anything. Im just a guy who has never been there but want to know the real deal. Are people just whining and being babies, or are there serious concerns in ESl that would warrant someone to not come and teach here??

Thanks for any replies. And please be honest.

You know that not all jobs are the same, right?
I'd say more, but it would be too boring.

I would have to agree with sulperman. After doing crap labor at minimum wage, I don't see how teaching English could be that bad.
