In the market for a record player. A few records were passed onto me and I have no way of playing them. Anyone know where I should be looking? Websites? Stores? Used or new.

Are you looking for something high-end? Or just anything that works? The problem is that no one makes cheap record players anymore. If you buy new you'll only find things aimed at audiophiles or DJs, and either way they'll be expensive.

If you just want to listen to the records you have and aren't too concerned about quality used is the only way to go. I found a few cheap used models online.

Nothing too special. Just a basic player that I can plug into some speakers and play my records.
