So I moved to Seoul from Suwon 3 weeks ago. I usually spend my Sunday doing absolutely nothing/sleeping. Today I decided to venture out at around noon to check out whats going down on a Sunday (I was hungry). To my surprise... Its empty, the streets/sidewalks are empty! Walking through Gangnam usually has at least a few people walking around, always! I'm truly confused as to why the place was empty. McDonalds was also kind of empty... during lunch time... thats wierd!
Is there a reason for this? Is everyone just sleeping in like I usually do?
Soooooooooooo confused!

Church? Obligatory family gatherings? (Well, that's what visits to the in-laws sound like according to my co-teachers).

Church and then shopping for some. Sleeping it off for others.

I don't even live in Seoul but all the coffee shops in my area were packed... Guess the locals don't share your passion for frolicking in the snow!
