thats my point..

No, your point was that it was 15 hour days, do we need to quote it again?

Quote:
so then the guy will not be able to make over 5 million only working 30hours a week. you want to make 5 million a month.. you have to work for it.
on average 10 hours a day. some people don't want to leave the house at 7am and come home around 9pm..

That was your claim. You wrote it didn't you? 14 hours + 1 hour getting up and getting ready since you want to include that.

Then again, given some of your earlier math perhaps you actually think 7 am to 9 pm is 10 hours.

NO, I didn't say 15 hour days
I said 10 hour days
I never said 10 hours of teaching time.
on average 10 hour days is what it takes for the average esler to pull in 5million.
you want to break down minutes in the classroom.. thats another kettle of fish.
I said, you are pretty much out of the house 10hours a day..
so it all goes back to what the other said.. about quality of life ...
this is how it all started...
now if you want to go back and read everything I wrote I clearly state how it happens.
you go and teach your 45 min business class tomorrow morning and run 10 minutes to the next one...

you keep banging your drum on the golden schedule which like a few guys have.. and I will tell you on the majority of teachers here..

Get yourself a calculator or something, because you clearly did.
7 am to 9 pm, that's 14 hours champ. I know math isn't your strong suit but you could have googled it or something by now.

How you could just sit there and pretend you didn't say that is a stunning display of trollmanship. Been listening to a little shaggy have you?

Since you followed that up by claiming people had to be out of the house for 14 hours, I can only assume you intended 10 of those 14 hours to be teaching. Then again, who knows with you.

You clearly started this discussion by stating they'd be out of the house for 14 hours.

At this point when it comes to numbers I wouldn't trust you to know a majority from a hole in the ground.

everyone understands both of your positions. Why don't you guys debate each other via pm-it would be so much better for everyone else reading the thread.

yes, and I never said you would not be home in your breaks either.
when I said 7am coming home 9pm.. means, early morning classes
and late evening privates are needed as thats when most classes are available.
you clearly showed that you could make 5 million and be finished before 2pm
I agreed,
except your BS with the 45min classes being paid for an hour, and back to back running down the street BS...

but said most people would have to spread their schedules out across the day. I think I did say that somewhere back.
the odd private near by the house, meaning after dinner you would have to head out for the late private.

I really don't know what you are after.
I agree with you.. you can make 5 million in short , block hours..
I know because I have done it for years.
but the average guy .. will have to work longer..not everyone has a sweet schedule just because they got married to a Korean.

so I will stand by what I say. and many esl teachers will pull long hours
meaning, early class, and late class. morning till night.
not your average 9-5 day.

Ok, each of you go to your respective benches and cool off.

This thread has ceased being informative and digressed into the usual dribble. Sad.
