Sopa, me to <xristos ke panageasou>.

I can't be the only one who's given or gotten a little knob in the back of a taxi. Or while driving down the highway. Or in a dark alley. Or on the bank of a river under a plane tree, or atop Ulsan Bawi. Mmm, good times. Wink

Vehicular manslaughter. A taxi running a red light t-bones my jeep and I'd be the waygook guy in a cast in the Korean courtroom found somehow responsible for it.

Out of all of those, definitely assault or visa infraction. Visa infraction because I might forget to renew or something and assault because an assault against a foreigner counts as an assault by a foreigner.

Disturbing the peace at my gym.

Nevermind that they constantly blast K-pop throughout the place, it's the waegook who turns up the TV volume loud enough that she can hear it from a few feet away who is disturbing everyone!

Definitely not any assault or drug related crimes.

But I love stealing things, I often shoplift in Korea, it's the easiest place to do so. I just smile and gain their confidence. I use my bag to throw in whatever small/expensive stuff I can (razors for example), then pay for like 5 items.

If it came down to it I would just be like "Oh I was holding on to those because my arms are too weak to hold everything."

Btw, I'm talking about convenience stores not other places.

Keep your ear to the grindstone!

Mass Murder & assassination:

Evil Hagwon Owners, crooked politicians (eg, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran, Than Shwe, President of Myanmar for starters), excessively noisy upstairs neighbors, hell, I may as well get Kim Jong-il, whilst I'm at it!

Libel

I think some day I'll publicize an honest opinion which gets me in trouble. I imagine someone like Simonpark might be the provocation that initiates that particular chain of unjust events.

RACIST KOREAN TROLL ALERT Exclamation Exclamation

I encourage ESL cafe posters to report Simon Park to the mods. He comes from the racist hate-speech forum Korean Sentry, noted for calling foreigners "filth", violence inciting rants againt foreigners marrying Koreans, constant use of threats, insults and racial slurs against anybody not Korean etc etc.

Korean Sentry is run by a Korean misfit who doesn't want any foreigners (especially "whitey") in Korea and regularly voices his hatred for foreigners making money as English teachers while all the time he works in Australia for a company called PC Tools. Spread the word Australians - tell PC Tools you will never do business in any way with them while they employ out and out, unapologetic racists like Mr Ma.

Korean Sentry is full of this kind of illegal speech (it's certainly illegal in the UK and I bet in Australia) and the coward who runs it and the cowards who are members think that having the server in the US will protect them.

Interesting thread.
I didn't think you would get serious responses though and after scanning some answers...I was not wrong haha

I think it would be "fight" or "other" for me
