You posted that you would change the selling format to indvidual lots on Friday and all of a sudden it's Sunday and you are freaking out because no one answered your pm's immediately. How often do people answer emails or text messages immediately? As soon as they get them - not always. Does that mean they are not your friends anymore? Doubt it.
If you were selling a house, a car, DVDs in this case etc. and the buyer of your house didn't answer the telephone, reply to texts, or emails for a weekend would you assume that they are no longer interested? No, most people would probably think that they are busy right now and that they will get back to you as soon as they can. People are active on weekends and don't always get online to check pm's on eslcafe or emails etc. A lot of people don't get on their computers from Friday night to Monday morning.
Again,
If anyone buys the lot and is willing to part with some of the movies I'll be willing to buy them. |

Good point CP, I never thought about it that way. I usually DO expect some sort of response within 24 hours, whether is email, SMS, or a phone call. Usually if no one gets back to me with 48 hours, I consider them not interested. Hate to say it, but I've sold a thing or two on here, and that tends to be the trend. Those who are truly interested are great at communication, those who aren't will ask a question or make an offer and then you'll never hear from them again. Let's just hope your right though. Thanks for your opinion. |

I think you both have a good point, but you have to keep in mind that not everyone will be in front on a computer on the weekends. |

Yeah, another case in point though is the fact I had 3 offers for the "100k for 100 DVDs" deal, and not even a one replied - and up till now its been 72 hours. By the way CP, I'm not referring to you, you weren't one of the original offers. Just bad luck on my part I guess.
!!!! OH.
I got a MMS this morning at 10:07am, it started with "I'm interes" and then due to an occasional glitch in my phones MMS program, it cut the rest off and didn't display a phone # it came from. So if you are that person, please try again, or call or email to make 100% sure I'll get the msg this time. Thanks |

Anyone who looks at your posting history will know you just like screwing with people. Here's hoping most people will have enough common sense to ignore anything you say. I ain't gonna get into a posting war with you either, even though I know your gonna respond with something else equally irrelevant (such as "CDRs" thing... did you even read the original post? heh).
Anyone have any decent comments or questions, I will respectfully answer as usual. Thanks. |

You are selling burned copies of DVD's, not originally liscensed and copyrighted. So basically you are getting paid for the tedius labour you exerted to make them. And also illegal behavior.
How long did the burning take? 2000 hrs? Congrats you are practically a slave if someone buys this from you.
Again your behavior is illegal. |

Daejeon. If near, I could give it to you in person. If far, I'll ship it. Shipping shouldn't be any more than 10-15,000 won. I'll pay half of shipping. |

These are DVDs I gathered myself via internal sources and burnt onto high-quality media (no riteks or cheapo brands). |
How nefarious.
I should start selling the hundreds of games I have collected via internal sources (whatever the heck that means).
Nice collection, but that's funny. |
bamboozler....giving morality lectures?
That too, is funny. |

I wasn't giving a moralistic lecture I don't care what he does with his time.
I just want the true market value to come to the surface on this auction.
Keep you ear to the grindstone! |

True market value come to surface:
Market value of blank DVDs alone:
50-pack of high-quality Sonys on gmarket, 20,000 won.
2280 DVDs /50-pack blanks = 45.6 x 20,000 won = 912,000 won.
Time spent collecting and burning vs what I'd get paid for them:
2000 hours (at minimum) spent. Selling for 300,000 won.
300,000 won / 2000 hours = 150 won.
I worked 2000 hours at 150 won per hour, and spent nearly (much more considering price of DVDs several years ago) 1,000,000 won on blank DVDs. Market value for ya. |

You're joking right?
Where else can you get 2280 DVDs for 300,000 won, organized and catalogued?
A collection like this is priceless, imo.
Good luck with the sale OP. |
