Going on a trip this weekend and have to be in Jamsil way early. Can anyone point me in the direction of a jimjilbang I can stay at Friday night near the station? Thanks! |

There's one right outside Gangbyeon station, which is like two stops away. |

On the Southern tip of Seokcheon Lake (next to Lotte World, the end closest to the outdoor amusement park) there's a Cafe Benne across the road. Walk down the side street that starts at that Cafe Benne, keep walking for about five minutes and there's one on your left.
It's great, huge, good facilities, comfortable sleeping bunks and it's 9,000W a night (as of 2011) if memory serves. I would sleep there every weekend when I was travelling up from Daegu to date my wife. |

There's also a big one just off the Jamsil bridge, as you head back north of the river on the way to Gwangjin-gu. Literally 100 meters (or less) past the bridge, on your right as you follow traffic north. Walking distance from Lotte World of about 10-15 minutes. I think it's called "Happy day" or "Happy world" Spa. |
