Just started on 'The Cape' - New 2011 show about superheroes. Good to see a direct live action one again.

definitely arrested development. one of the best comedies ever made.

x-files is classic, well written, well acted, and although it has really cheesy special effects in the beginning, it definitely makes up for it in story. plus it will last you a good while.

it's always sunny is a good recommendation

just caught up with eastbound and down. very crude, but very funny. also shot in my home town.

i love mad men. people either love or hate it, but if you like it, you will really really like it.

and then scrubs. great, light hearted, funny, emotional, quality television.

I was reminded of the highly under-rated and sadly short-lived Pushing Daisies.

It was immensely beautiful and sincere.

Here's a clip from the first episode: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NQXwwjUc6x8
Obviously with a nicer copy you can better appreciate the fine cinematography, watch it!

i loved the first season of pushing daisies! i watched it like 3 times. but then i watched the second season with my girlfriend and that kind of ruined it for me. they took all the icing of the first season, but didn't support it with any of the cake, IMO. i loved the unfolding, unorthodox love story, but the second season made it far too whiney. they also seemed to rely too much on the special effects. but yes, the first season is well worth a watch.

The Closer with Kyra Sedgwick and JK Simmons (he was in Spiderman). Season 7 the last season is starting sometime this year.
