I need to know - if a person has an ARC (alien registration card) in Seoul - issued by the "Chief of Seoul Immigration" and moves to a different location to work and live - example Gyeonggido -
does the new Immigration office - issue a new card - or can the came card be kept and just the new school written on the back?
or will they keep your former (Seoul) ARC and issue a new (Gyeonggido) ARC? |

You don't need make new one, they just write you new address on the back side, sometimes they ask change to new card if the photo is not good. |

It depends on which office has jurisdiction over your place of residence.
I worked in Gwangju-Gyeonggi. The Suwon office has jurisdiction over my place of work and the GPOE was responsible for us.
I lived in Seongnam, Gyeonggi (Bundang (Seohyun-1 dong)) and was under the jurisdiction of the main immigration office at Omokyo.
Even if you move out of Seoul you may or may not necessarily change the office. If you do, they may re-issue or just update your card.
They WON'T change your ARC number.
